Purpose - Faculty Development Committee

This Committee is responsible for administering the program of research, professional development, tuition assistance and sabbatical leaves. Recommendations of this Committee should be consistent with the goals of the University and the specific colleges and schools. The dean of each academic college shall approve specific faculty development requests prior to submission to the Committee.

Eligibility Criteria - Faculty Development Committee

The membership of the Committee shall consist of one elected faculty member from each of the five (5) academic colleges of the University, one appointed faculty member at large from each campus, and one appointed faculty member from TROY Online. An Associate Provost designated by the Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs shall serve as the non-voting Chair of the Committee.
