School of Nursing Accreditation for the ASN, BSN, MSN, and DNP Programs
TROY School of Nursing is proud to announce notification of continued accreditation of its Associate of Science in Nursing program (ASN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN and RN to BSN/MSN), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) programs and initial accreditation of its new Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). The Board of Commissioners granted the associate, master's and bachelor's programs eight years of continuing accreditation and the clinical doctorate program initial accreditation for five years. These decisions by the Board of Commissioners represent the maximum time allowed for continued and initial accreditation of programs by ACEN.
Accreditation indicates to our communities of interest that our programs meet national standards and guidelines for nursing education. The TROY School of Nursing is committed to the delivery of quality nursing education programs.
