Barnes and Noble (B&N) is the new bookstore for all TROY students (TROY Online, Global Campus, and Alabama Campuses). All TROY students will have the option to order textbooks using one of the following methods:
- In-store at one of the Troy University Campus Bookstores located in Dothan, Montgomery, Phenix City, or Troy, Alabama
- Online through Trojan Web Express by clicking on the View/Buy Textbook tab after log-in using the following link: http://splash.troy.edu/go-to/webexpress/
- Online through Blackboard by clicking on the “Bookstore” button within each course and adding course material to the “Cart”. Once you have added course material for each course simply click “Cart” and checkout. You will have to create an account with Barnes & Noble the first time you checkout.
- Online through the Barnes & Noble website using the following link: http://shoptroytrojans.com/
Please Note: Starting Term 1/FALL 2015, students will not have to complete “an electronic voucher form”. If your Financial Aid is approved and accepted, you may purchase your textbooks by typing in your student id number upon checkout.
Students who have additional financial aid available, after tuition and fees have been paid, may charge required textbooks and approved supplies through the Barnes and Noble (B&N) Bookstore. B&N Bookstore charges cannot exceed the amount of excess financial aid available to the student or a limit of $1200.00. In addition to excess financial aid funds, students may also use Chapter 31 VA, Alabama G.I. Dependents’ Scholarship Program, or Alabama Vocational Rehab. The student’s VA Form 1905 or other TA Form must authorize book charges and list the amount authorized to be approved for book charging. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure the correct textbook is purchased and received in a timely manner. For more detailed instructions on how to charge books using the online options, please click here.
