ATTENTION:

Each student who does not have a military affiliated ID card must obtain a “Term Pass” at the beginning of the school term to be authorized entry to Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek (NABLC) for the purpose of traveling to and from the Troy University classroom. If you do not have a Department of Defense military affiliated ID card, please follow the procedure below:

Base Access for Civilians:
As soon as you have registered for classes, contact the NABLC Creek Troy University site coordinator at (757) 460-2736 or email sjdavis@troy.edu and ask to be put on the base access roster. Rosters will be submitted to the base security office a few days before the beginning of each term and as needed during late registration. The “Term Pass” will allow you to have base access for the duration of the school term only. You must repeat this step for each subsequent school term.

The Pass and ID Office is located inside GATE 3 (on the far right side before passing the gate guard).  Business hours are: M-F 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You must contact the Troy University site coordinator to request base access; otherwise your name will not be submitted to the Pass and ID office. To help ensure minimal difficulties in obtaining your pass, please go to the Pass and ID office one or two days before the term starts. (Students taking weekend classes that may not start until several weeks into the school term should also plan to obtain their term pass at the beginning of the term.) Please feel free to contact the Troy University site representative if you have questions or to confirm that your name has been submitted.

To pick up your Term Pass, take the following documents to the NABLC Pass and ID Office:

  • Drivers License
  • Proof of Insurance
  • Vehicle Registration
  • Virginia State Inspection receipt
