Biography:

Ms. Cox has been an instructor of anthropology for 6 years. In addition to teaching online Introduction to Anthropology courses for Troy, Mrs. Cox has served as an adjunct instructor at other universities teaching not only Introduction to Anthropology, but Introduction to Sociology and Cultural Anthropology in both a classroom setting and online.
Her areas of academic interest include archaeology of the Southeastern United States, with a focus on mortuary practices and patterns in culture change. In her research, Mrs. Cox applies anthropological, psychological and sociological concepts in a cross-cultural comparison of the treatment of death in various societies.
She currently lives in Auburn, Alabama with her husband and two children.
