Education:

Post Masters work, Troy University.  Concentration in sociology.

MS, Troy State University.  Degree in criminal justice.  Concentration in administration.

BS, Troy State University.  Degree in psychology and social rehabilitation

Social stratification.

Biography:

Brenda joined the Troy staff in 1991 and began teaching as an adjunct in 1995.  She retired from the University in 2014 but continues to serve as an adjunct instructor.  Brenda is a three year faculty participant in the Leading Edge Institute, an Alabama Black Belt immersion project for Alabama's college women, and has been involved with community service agencies such as the Montgomery Area Food Bank, Organized Community Action Program, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Meals on Wheels.  She serves on the Miss Alabama Board of Directors as Scholarship Chair
