John E. Dunning, Ph.D., Adjunct Faculty
John Dunning is a member of the adjunct faculty. He has been teaching for Troy University since 1995. John has a doctorate in public policy and administration from Virginia Commonwealth University, a master of public administration from Auburn University and a bachelor of arts in psychology from Lawrence University. He is also a graduate of the Air War College and the Air Command and Staff College.
His practitioner experience includes a career in the Air Force, specializing in human resource management, training, and readiness planning. He also worked as the Director of Human Resources for Medical Service Corporation International in Arlington, VA, and as a human resources and organizational d development consultant for several companies, including Drake, Beam, Morin, Inc. (DBM), B3H Corporation, and Data Systems Design (DSD) Laboratories.
His primary courses are organizational behavior, organizational theory, leadership and public policy. His research interests are in the areas of instructional technology, simulation modeling and organizational development.
