Vickie L. Edwards, Assistant Professor
Dr. Vickie Edwards is an Assistant Professor of Public Administration at Troy University. Additionally, she is the Founding Managing Editor of the Journal of Public and Nonprofit Affairs and a Founding Trustee of the Midwest Public Affairs Conference.
Dr. Edwards earned her PhD from the University of Georgia's Department of Public Administration and Policy in 2012. She also holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Georgia College and State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of South Alabama. She has previously taught at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Georgia College and State University, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her research interests include strategic planning and action, nonprofit management, civic engagement, democratic governance, volunteerism, and organizational behavior.
