Michael Guo-Brennan, Ph.D., Assistant Professor
Michael Guo-Brennan holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy and a Masters’ degree in Public Administration from the University of Louisville as well as a Bachelors’ degree in Music History from Illinois State University. Although living and working most of his life in the Midwestern United States, he comes to Troy from Prince Edward Island Canada, where he taught and worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Prince Edward Island. Prior to living in Canada, Michael served as a municipal government executive in Iowa and Maine. His teaching and research focuses on Public Policy, Immigration Policy, Civic Engagement, and Global Competency. Michael has a wife and step-son.
