How do I apply?

Do I need to buy the books on my own?

No. All copies of the required readings will be provided during the organizational meeting on January 22, 2014.

Do I receive course credit for participating in the reading group?

No. The “Liberty, Markets, and the Great Books” reading group is completely voluntary and students do not receive any type of course credit for participating. Participating students will, however, receive a $1,000 scholarship.

What if I am not an economics or political science major?

All Troy University students are welcomed and encouraged to apply. It is strongly suggested that a student have an innate interest in the philosophy of liberty.
