LIEUTENANT COLONEL CRISTINA F. LUSSIER

Lieutenant Colonel Cristina F. Lussier is the Commander and Professor of Aerospace Studies for the U.S. Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 017 at Troy University, Troy, Alabama.

Lieutenant Colonel Lussier is a career intelligence officer. She has held various joint positions at the executive level and regional combatant command levels. These assignments include being a political affairs strategist of Southeast Europe for United States Air Forces in Europe, working on the National Security Council in the White House Situation Room and collaborating with other combat support agencies as the United States Northern Command military liaison at the National Counterterrorism Center. Lieutenant Colonel Lussier has also served in Southeast Asia for Operation IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM while assigned to the Pacific Air Operation Center, Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii.

Prior to taking command Lieutenant Colonel Lussier was stationed at Ramstein Air Base, Germany where she was the Chief of Future Operations for Third Air Force and U.S. Air Forces in Europe’s Intelligence Directorate. Lieutenant Colonel Lussier is married to U.S. Air Force Major William Lussier and has four children.
