Section 2 of 5, WRITING IMPROVEMENT, page 1 of 4.
Formal classes, such as those in composition, are one avenue through which improvement of writing skills can be achieved.
Even in classes whose primary focus is not on communication skills, students can learn to improve their writing. Students should review their corrected assignments in order to assess (and then act upon) areas for improvement.
Faculty can assist students in this endeavor by making use of the Instructor Resources available from the Troy University Writing Center.
